Allen + Roth Patio Furniture

Outdoor seating, dining sets and accessories. Seasonal stock, which is why older sets get hard to match.

Prices and stock are live at Lowe’s. We do not sell anything.

What the Allen + Roth Patio Furniture Range Covers

Allen + Roth patio furniture is Lowe’s own outdoor line: seating sets, dining sets, bar stools, umbrellas and fire pits. Stock is seasonal, so the line-up you see in April is not the line-up you see the following April. That fact drives most of the decisions below.

The first real fork is seating set against dining set. Seating sets pair deep-seat cushions with a low table and are built for lounging. Dining sets sit at table height, take thinner pads or slings, and need room behind every chair. Bar-height sets sit higher again and want more overhead clearance.

How to Measure Your Patio for Furniture

Measure the usable slab or decking, not the whole yard. Mark where the door swings, where the grill lives, and where people walk through.

  • Dining sets: allow about 3 feet of clear floor on every side of the table footprint. That is what a chair needs to push back with someone still able to walk past it.
  • Seating sets: allow 16 to 18 inches between the front of the seat and the coffee table, and remember deep-seat cushions add depth beyond the frame dimensions on the box.
  • Umbrellas: measure slab to soffit, eave or overhanging branch, and check the table’s umbrella hole diameter against the pole if you buy the two separately.
  • The route in: measure the gate, the side path and any stair turn. The boxes are flat but long.

Lay the footprint out in painter’s tape before you commit. It is the cheapest way to find out a six-seat set turns your patio into a corridor.

What to Check Before You Buy

  • The frame term is per item, not per range. Item AS21409 states one year, sofa set FTS81432 states three years, and conversation chairs state five years, all in identical wording. Find the document published against your item number.
  • Cushions, straps and wicker weaves get one year against defects in material or workmanship, whatever the frame gets.
  • Fading from sun and weather is never covered. Discoloration or fading of the finish or fabrics from exposure to the elements, chemicals or spills is excluded in writing, along with rusting hardware, tabletop breakage and damage from natural causes.
  • Commercial use voids it. Display models and anything bought “as is” are excluded too, which is worth knowing before you take the floor model at a discount.
  • Coverage stops with the original purchaser and does not transfer. No Allen + Roth document requires registration, but all require proof of purchase, so keep the receipt.

How to Choose Cushion Fabric

Cushions fail first on any patio set, and the two fabric options carry different protection. Standard cushions get the one-year defects term and nothing against fading. Cushions made with STAINMASTER fabric add a separate five-year warranty against premature colour fading and household food or beverage stains.

Read that second one narrowly. It covers the fabric, not the furniture the fabric was applied to, so a sagging insert or a broken frame under a good cover is not a fabric claim. Where a set is offered in both, STAINMASTER is the version with a written answer to the most common complaint here.

Weather damage is excluded either way, so cushion life comes down to storage. Dry them fully before they go away, because a cushion boxed damp comes out mildewed. Store them upright in a deck box or indoors, and bring them in for rain rather than at the end of the season.

How to Assemble a Patio Set Without Voiding the Warranty

Assembly is the step buyers underestimate. Work with two people, keep the hardware bagged by step, and leave every bolt finger-tight until the whole frame is up and square. Tightening as you go is what leaves you fighting misaligned holes at the last bracket.

It matters beyond the afternoon: damage to frames or welds caused by improper assembly is excluded from the frame warranty, so a hole forced into line is a repair you pay for. Build on grass or cardboard rather than bare slab to keep the finish intact.

What Owners Say

Two individual reports from public forums, not survey data. One owner paid around $500 for Allen + Roth patio cushions and says “they lasted one season only - 4 months.” A self-identified Lowe’s assembly contractor says the sets are “most definitely NOT ‘easy assembly’... it’s next to impossible to fit it up without hammers and bar clamps.”

Two people are not a verdict, but they point at what to budget for: an assembly window longer than the box promises, and cushions treated as a consumable. Because the sets change every season, reviews on the exact item number are worth more than anything written about the brand as a whole.

Why to Buy Extra Chairs and Parts Early

Sets land in spring, clear by late summer, and disappear within a year or two, so a matching chair, sling or table glass gets hard to find fast. If you think you will want two more chairs next summer, buy them this summer.

Lowe’s publishes no commitment to stock parts for products it has discontinued, and no stated period after which parts stop. That makes the item number the thing to record. Photograph the label under the seat and keep it with the receipt, before you go hunting for a replacement part in three years.

Allen + Roth Patio Furniture Questions

Do Allen + Roth Patio Furniture Frames Have a 5-year Warranty?

Not always. Lowe’s own warranty documents set the frame term per item, at one, three or five years, using otherwise identical wording. Item AS21409 states one year, sofa set FTS81432 states three years, and conversation chairs state five years. The five-year figure is correct for some sets and wrong for others, so check the document published against your specific item number.

How Long Are Allen + Roth Patio Cushions Covered?

One year. The patio documents state that cushions, straps and/or wicker weaves are covered for a period of one (1) year against defects in material or workmanship. Separately, Allen + Roth cushion fabric made with STAINMASTER carries a five-year fabric warranty against premature colour fading and household food or beverage stains, but that document covers only the fabric, and not any furniture or other products to which the fabric has been applied.

Is Fading or Rust Covered on Allen + Roth Patio Furniture?

No. The exclusions state that discoloration or fading of the finish or fabrics as a result of exposure to the elements, chemicals or spills is not covered. Tabletop breakage, corrosion or rusting of hardware, and damage to frames or welds caused by improper assembly, misuse or natural causes are also excluded, as are commercial use, display models and items bought as is.

Who Do I Call About Allen + Roth Patio Furniture?

The patio documents give 1-866-439-9800, 8am to 8pm EST, Monday to Friday. Email is ascs@lowes.com, and parts enquiries go to PartsPlus@Lowes.com. Have proof of purchase ready. No Allen + Roth document requires product registration, but every one of them requires proof of purchase, and coverage is almost always limited to the original purchaser.

Can I Still Get Parts for a Discontinued Allen + Roth Patio Set?

Sometimes, but there is no guarantee. Patio stock is seasonal and the line-up rotates, so sets disappear within a year or two. Lowe’s publishes no commitment to stock parts after a product is discontinued, so there is no stated period to rely on. Call the parts line with your item number and find out for your set.
